N.B. Due to not having the second selection available at Bet365 at the time of posting, i'm using
888sport for this double, therefore the terminology is slightly different for the first selection. An "Asian total 1st half (Over 0.75)" is exactly the same as "1st Half Goal Line (Over 0.5, 1)", which you would find it written as on Bet365. Our first selection should be a game with good potential for goals, of the teams left in the competition, AS Roma conceded the highest number of goals during the group stages with 16 goals conceded in 6 games, and Real Madrid scored the highest number of goals with 19 scored in 6 group stage games. AS Roma have also recently changed their manager to one who believes in a more attacking style of play, so their could be plenty of opportunities for both teams to score today. Now this selection only needs 1 goal in the first half of the game to make this bet safe and also give half the winnings, 2 goals in the first half would secure all the profits, and only a first half with 0 goals can result in this selection losing, which should be unlikely considering the number of goals these two teams have had in their matches so far.
Our second selection (Besiktas) have the opportunity today to close the gap at the top of the Turkey League to just 1 point and still have a game in hand over Fenerbahce. Besiktas are the best attacking team in the league, scoring 47 goals from just 19 games, and they also have one of the tightest defences. Today they are playing a team (Mersin) who are struggling to avoid being relegated this season, and of the last 5 encounters between these two teams, Besiktas have won all 5. There is huge incentive for both teams in this match, however Besiktas undoubtedly have the advantage in quality and also home advantage, which although doesn't seem to have much of an impact on Besiktas, it does mean Mersin are the away team and they have been far poorer in performances on the road. It would be a big surprise if Besiktas didn't win this match, having said that, it's been a tricky week for football betting, so anything is possible.
