Our first selection (Falkirk) are one of 3 teams who are in a different class in this seasons Scotland Championship, with a massive 18 point gap between 3rd and 4th placed teams. Along with Rangers and Hibs they are pushing to win the league and gain automatic promotion, so every point is vital for them. They are playing a team today (Livingston) who are struggling in the league, winning just 1 of their 10 home games all season, and they have already lost twice this season to Falkirk. Falkirk are a very difficult side to beat, losing only twice (Rangers and Hibs) in 21 games, so with the draw covered, this selection should be very safe.
Our second selection (Benfica) are like two different teams depending on whether they are playing home or away. Both home or away they are a difficult team to beat, conceding 6 goals in 9 home games, and 6 goals in 9 away games. However in attack, that's where the differences are With home advantage they have scored a very impressive 30 goals in 9 game, which is over 3 per game, and nearly twice as many as they have scored away from home, so they are far more dangerous going forward when they have home advantage and therefore far more likely to win their games. Today's opponents (Arouca) nicked an early goal and held on for the win earlier in the season, i don't see that happening today, Benfica will be just too strong at home.
