Benfica was the earlier kick-off, and after a terrible first half performance they managed to improve enough in the second half to score a goal and win 1-0, making that selection 'void'. Our later kick-off was the rather unfancied Aston Villa, and after a closely matched first half, they also stepped things up in the second half, securing the win with 2 goals, and giving our double a partial win.
