Our first selection (Man City) might seem an obvious one to some due to the strength of Man City, but it may seem a risky one to others due to Crystal Palace's away record, personally though i feel Palace are stuttering and this is a must win game for City as they try and close the gap on Arsenal. Man City have the strongest home record in the premiership, with 8 wins from 11, scoring a massive 29 goals in the process (more than 2.5 goals per game). Palace on the other hand have one of the strongest away records, however they have struggled recently, gaining just 2 points from their last 4 games, and losing their last 2 to Chelsea and Villa. Man City have a winning history at home to Palace, and i just think they will be too strong for an out of sorts Palace today.
Our second selection (El Zamalek) is a team some of you may not have heard of, however they are last seasons champions of Egypt and have an extremely strong home record. Last season El Zamalek won the league by 8 points, and went the entire season unbeaten at home, scoring an impressive 43 goals from 19 home games, and even more impressive, they only conceded 7 goals in those 19 games. This season, they are a few points adrift of the top but have games in hand, and they are still unbeaten at home, with 4 wins and 1 draw, 13 goals scored, and just 3 conceded. Their opponents (El Shorta) are near the bottom of the table, and without a win in 12 games, although a lot of their games have been draws. Away from home they have lost more games though, and it would be a massive shock if they were able to stop El Zamalek today.
