Our first selection (Chelsea) really look to be back on track now, unbeaten under Hiddink, no goals conceded in their last 3 games, and there may even be thoughts of an outside chance of a top 4 finish. So, after such a bad start, they will definitely be pushing to try and win every game from now until the end of the season if they want Champions League football next season. It needs no explaining that Chelsea are strong at home, however tonight opponents (West Brom) won't make things easy for them, they are also in good form, winning their last 2 in the league. I do think Chelsea still have the quality to win tonight, Costa has been passed fit to play, and after seeing them dispatch Crystal Palace 3-0 away from home, i think West Brom could have a night of defending ahead of them.
Our second selection (Hull) have had a difficult spell not too long ago, and they are still struggling away from home, however their strength with home advantage continues to be impressive. They have won their last 4 home games, and have lost only once in their last 17 home games in all competitions. They are both defensively strong (conceding only 6 goals in 12 home games), and dangerous in attack (scoring 22 goals in 12 home games). Their opponents tonight (Cardiff) fair much better when playing at home. Away from home they have only 2 wins from 12, scoring only 11 goals in the process. I have covered the draw as i still have a little uncertainty with Hull's recent form, however i would be very shocked to see them lose this one.
