Our first selection (Nancy) are top of the French Ligue 2 and have won their last 5 straight home games, where as Laval are coming of 3 straight away defeats. Nancy are a team in great form and look to be the class act of the league this season, they have won 8 of their last 10 league games, have the 2nd best attack in the league (30 goals in 19 games), and their defence is far and away better than anyone else's in the league (conceding just 12 from 19 games). Their opponents (Laval) are a mid table team in every sense this season, their form is average, their attack and defence are both average. On paper, Nancy should have enough to win with home advantage tonight.
Our second selection (Lucon Vendee) are 2nd in the France National League and are playing the newly promoted AS Beziers who are currently struggling in the relegation zone. Lucon Vendee are not big goals scorers, which is why i've covered the draw, however their opponents have scored just 2 goals from 7 away games so there shouldn't be too much risk of Lucon Vendee losing this game. On paper they would be expected to win comfortably, but it's better to be safe and cover the draw when backing a team who don't score many and play in a France lower league.
