Our first selection (Arsenal) are currently top of the English Premier League and have a very good recent record against today's opponents (Newcastle), winning the last 8 times these two teams have met. Since losing their first game of the season, Arsenal have not lost a home league game, winning 6 and drawing 2 of their last 8 home games. Newcastle had a terrible start to the season, but showed signs of improvement with wins over Liverpool and Spurs, however since those wins they have looked far less convincing, suffering 2 losses and 1 draw from their last 3 games. West Brom were all over them in their last match, and if Newcastle perform in the same manner today, i can only see a convincing Arsenal win as an outcome.
Our second selection (Leicester) have a massive game today in my opinion. Everyone has been saying their performances will drop at some point, and with 1 point from their last 2 games (Man City, Liverpool), maybe this is the time. However, with those last two games being against big clubs, it was never going to be easy, and we will know a lot more about their longevity at the top after today's game against a Bournemouth side Top 4 teams at home should be able to beat. I have a feeling Vardy will get back on the scoresheet today and i think Leicester still have the quality to win, however i'm covering the draw just in case Bournemouth prove to be stubborn resistance.
