Our first attempt at Tip 3 ended with a 'void' outcome, so we get to have another attempt with the Boxing Day fixtures. I'm looking to keep these selections as safe as possible and i think both should stand an extremely good chance of winning, barring any major upsets.
Our first selection (Man City) is about as obvious as they come. Playing at home Man City are probably the strongest team in the Premier league, and their home record would back that up. Having dropped ground to Arsenal and Leicester in their last match, they will be looking to make sure they will get all 3 points in this match. Their opponents (Sunderland) have toughened up since the arrival of Allardyce, however 3 straight losses in their last 3 games shows they are still a struggling side. Just keep your fingers crossed for no upsets.
Our second selection (No clean sheet - Newcastle) should be fairly straight forward. Everton are one of the most free scoring teams currently, scoring 22 goals in their last 10 games in all competitions, and scoring in each of those 10 games. Another influence is Lukaku's form, he has now scored in his last 7 straight games and surely will have Vardy's record in his thoughts so will be trying his best to score again on Saturday. The team hoping to stop this selection winning is Newcastle, they have had some impressive results against Spurs and Liverpool, however they looked very unimpressive against Villa in their last match. They have conceded in 7 of their 9 home games, and they will have their work cut out stopping Everton from scoring in this match.
