Our first selection (Valencia) haven't had the best of seasons so far by their standards, however they have still managed to stay unbeaten in the league when playing at home. Their solid defence is one of the main reasons for not losing at home this season, conceding just 3 goals from 7 home games (3 wins, 4 draws), which is less than 0.5 goals conceded per game. Their opponents today (Getafe) have a fairly opposite away record to Valencia's home record. Getafe are yet to win a game away from home, with just one point scored from 7 away league games, and they have only scored 3 goals in those 7 games, yet have conceded a massive 18 goals. It would be very surprising to see Valencia lose this one.
Our second selection (Bayern) need no introduction really, we all know they are possibly the best team in the world at the moment along with Barcelona, and they will certainly be looking to go into the Christmas break with a win. Bayern have won the last 8 times they have met todays opponents (Hannover), and it would be a big shock if they didn't make it 9 wins later today. Hannover are struggling in the league, sitting 3rd from bottom and going though a bad run of form with 4 losses from their last 5 games. Bayern do have quite a few injuries going into this match, however with their level of squad depth, they should have more than enough quality to get the 3 points today.
