Tipster's Double #118

Fridays Fixtures.

Double:
Vitesse v FC Twente - WIN (Vitesse)
Sparta Rotterdam v Maastricht - Over 1.5 team goals (Sparta Rotterdam)

Currently odds of 1.91

These matches can be found in the Netherlands leagues.

Our first selection (Vitesse) has gone through a bit of a tough spell recently, however they are very strong at home and will be looking to get back to winning ways tonight. They have won 5 of their 8 home league games this season, which does't sound amazing, however when you look into the 3 defeats you'll see that two of them were against PSV and Ajax (no shame there), and the other was due to receiving a red card in the first half of a match they were otherwise in control of. Their strength at home is also demonstrated in their goal difference of 17 for and only 7 against, which is quite impressive when you consider 6 of the 7 goals against were conceded in those 3 losses, if not for those 3 games it would be 16 goals for and 1 against. Their opponents are in the bottom 3 and really struggling away from home, with 0 wins, 3 draws, and 5 losess (6 goals for, 18 against). On paper this should be a home win.

Our second selection (Sparta Rotterdam) are a goal machine at home, they score on average 3 goals per home game and have scored 2 or more goals in every one of their home league games this season, winning each one in the process. Their opponents (Maastricht) are not a bad team by any means, but neither are Volendam and Eindhoven yet Sparta put 3 past both of those. Also Maastricht aren't the greatest defensively away from home, conceding 13 in 8 away games this season. It would be a big shock if Sparta didn't get another couple of goals to add to their impressive home winning streak.
