Our first selection (Hull) got back to winning ways at the weekend after a couple of defeats, which will have given them a real reality check if they want automatic promotion into the premiership, it won't be easy. I do believe they are one of the three strongest teams in the Championship though and their home form in particular is very impressive, with 7 wins, 2 draws, and only 1 loss, scoring 17 and conceding only 5 goals in the process. Their opponents today (Reading) are going through a pretty tough period, losing 4 of their last 5 league games, and not managing to score in 3 of those games. They are a decent team however, and this won't be easy for Hull, however Hull should have enough quality to avoid defeat, especially with home advantage.
Our second selection (White Star) are in the Belgium 2nd div, and could close the gap to the top team to just 4 points with a win tonight. They have won their last 7 straight home games in all competitions, conceding only 3 goals in the process and scoring 16, and their only home defeat in the league this season was against league leaders Tubize. They are up against a team (KVV Coxyde) who is sitting 2nd from bottom and is 7 points adrift of the 3rd from bottom team. They are really struggling and have 0 wins, 6 draws, and 11 losses, scoring 17 and conceding a significant 39 goals from their 17 league games. Their last 5 league games were all lost by 2 or more goals and their only draws have come against teams in the bottom half of the table.
Now we've had some rotten luck the past few days, however if luck doesn't play a factor here, this double should be very safe.
