FREE MAILING LISTOur first selection (Ajax) is a team that needs to win in order to stand any chance of progressing in the Europa League. When playing tonights opponents (Molde) away from home a few weeks back, they were unlucky not to win, having around 60% possession and twice as many attempts on goal. Now with Molde already qualified, plus Ajax this time having home advantage, and this being a must win game for Ajax, i can see this being a dominant display from Ajax which they will stand a very good chance of winning.
Our second selection (Augsburg) remind me of Arsenal last night, quite a few don't seem to fancy them, however this is a must win game for them also, where as their opponents (Partizan) can lose by a 1 goal margin and still be fine. Basically Augsburg have to win by 2 or more goals, and they have to score at least 3 goals, so we know which team will be attacking and which will be defending. I believe Augsburg are a better side than Partizan, and now they will know what to expect from the likes of Zivkovic. Also, when they met a few weeks back, Partizan scored one deflected goal and one defensive howler of an own goal from Augsburg, so the chances of that happening again are very slim. With the mentality both teams will have coming into this match, i just don't see Augsburg losing it.
