Our first selection (Club Brugge) are last years Belgium Cup winners, so will be looking to defend their trophy. So far in the league this season they have a 100% record at home (8 games, 8 wins), scoring 24 goals and conceding only 3 in the process, so they are pretty formidable at home. Their opponents (Lokeren) have had some good away performances this season, and actually seem to perform better away from home. However, with Club Brugge's dominance at home, the home win is a very likely result tonight.
Our second selection (Ath Bilbao) are going really well in the league now, they are one of the in form teams outside of the big 3 in the Spain League after a fairly poor start to the season. They have won 8 of their last 10 matches in all competitions, and have been scoring goals very freely in the process. Their opponents (Linense) are struggling in the Segunda Div B - Group 4, so this will be a massive step up in class for them. In terms of quality, this result should only one outcome. Hopefully Ath Bilbao will not get complacent and will do what's needed to get the job done.
