It's been a while since our last Tipster's Double (#94) which easily won on Saturday, but the fixtures are just about good enough for another today.
Our first selection (Hibernian) are on a great run of form in the Scotland Championship. They are currently 2nd in the league, have won 12 of their last 13 matches in all competitions, and even picked up a win against top of the table Rangers on the way. Hibs have also won the last 5 times these two teams have met so will have the advantage in form and the psychological edge. Their opponents (Livingston) have lost 9 of the 13 league matches this season and sit towards the bottom end of the table. Hibs should have too much for Livingston tonight and barring upsets they should add to their impressive winning record.
Our second selection (Ecuador) are also in great form. Now usually i wouldn't go for the away team when we talk about South American teams, however the form difference is so large that i feel this should be safe, especially with the draw covered too. Ecuador are topping their qualification group with 3 impressive wins over Argentina, Bolivia, and Uruguay. They are scoring freely, being tight in defence (just 1 goal conceded), and playing some really good football. Their opponents Venezuela are struggling at the bottom of the table with 3 defeats from 3, conceding 8 goals in the process, and in all competitions they have lost 6 of their last 7 games. Ecuador should have enough to avoid defeat tonight.
