I've decided to go for a higher than usual odds double today. We're still stuck with selecting from poor fixtures (lower European leagues, U21's, U19's) so figured we may as well go for a bigger profit if it does come in. Our first selection (Ireland U21) played Lithuania U21 just over a month ago and won 3-0. Now they did have home advantage, however it was utterly dominant with Ireland U21 having 63% possession and 16 attempts on goal compared to just 2 for Lithuania U21. Away from home they should still be the stronger side and should still have enough quality to win, it may not be as dominant but it should still be straight forward, especially considering Lithuania U21 have lost all 5 of their qualifier games, scoring 0 goals yet conceding 14 in the process.
Our second selection sounds riskier than it is. I'll start with the "Total goals" part, in Germany U21's 3 qualifiers so far, they have scored 13 goals, which is an average of over 4 goals per game, and they are playing a team who has conceded 13 goals in their 5 qualifier games (most of those games being against weaker opposition than Germany U21). Also, Germany U21 beat them 3-0 away from home in September, and that was including 2 missed penalties, so they really should get over 2.5 goals today with home advantage.
In terms of the "BTTS - No" part of the selection, i believe it's very likely Germany U21 will be the only team scoring in this game, they have conceded 0 goals in their 3 qualifier games, and Azerbaijan U21 have scored only 1 in their 5 qualifiers, and that was against the Faroe Islands U21 who have lost all of their 4 games so far. On top of that, when these two teams met in September, Germany U21's restricted them to only 1 attempt on goal.
