Some tricky days ahead with the international break coming, fixture choice will be pretty limited. Managed to find a couple in the Portugal league today though which should stand a decent chance.
Our first selection (Belenenses) finished last season in 6th, however they have struggled early on this season. They've had 3 heavy defeats, but all away from home, and all to top sides (Benfica, Porto, and Braga), so i don't think that should influence us too much here. Their home record is pretty good so far, with 2 wins, 2 draws, 0 losses, and they are up against a newly promoted side today with an away record of 0 wins, 1 draw, and 3 losses, scoring only 1 goal in the process. With the need for Belenenses to try and climb the table, they should have too much for a struggling promoted side who sit bottom of the league and average less than 1 goal every 2 games.
Our second selection (Braga) are looking very strong this year, sitting in 5th place, playing good football, scoring goals and barely conceding any in the process (16 for, 4 against, in 9 games). They are on a 5 game unbeaten run in the league, and that includes an away draw against Porto, which is no easy task. Their opponents (U. Madeira) are a newly promoted team who are also struggling at the bottom of the table like our first selection's opponents. They sit 3rd from bottom with 1 win in 7 league games, scoring only 3 goals in those 7 games. Braga should have too much quality today, and with the draw covered, this should be a safe selection despite not having home advantage.
