Our first selection (Rennes v PSG) is a game which should contain more than 1.5 goals. PSG are the joint highest scoring team in the league with 25 goals from 11 games and their last 8 league games have contained 2 or more goals. Rennes are a bit more balanced, they score a similar amount to what they conceded, with 15 scored and 13 conceded in 11 games. Their last 9 league games have contained 2 or more goals and i'd be surprised if that didn't happen in todays game also.
Our second selection (Benfica) are last years Portugal Primeira Liga winners but this year has been a less than pleasing start for them. They are still a quality side and it's only a matter of time before they are back in that familiar top 3 with Sporting and Porto. Their opponents (Tondela) are newly promoted and finding life in the top league a struggle, winning just 1 game in 8, and currently sitting 3rd from bottom. With the importance of Benfica closing the gap at the top, i don't see them wasting this opportunity for 3 points.
