Apologies for not posting a double for Monday, i was waiting for the asian handicap options to appear for Sweden but they just never did. I was planning to combine a -1 asian with a Russia win.
Back to Tuesdays selections. Now my first selection (Serbia U21) played Lithuania U21 in September and won 5-0, and that wasn't a flattering scoreline either. It was fully deserved as they had 68% possession, and 25 attempts on goals, compared to just the 1 attempt on goal for Lithuania U21. Now in terms of qualification so far, Serbia U21 are 2 wins from 2, with 10 goals scored and 0 conceded, and Lithuania U21 are 4 losses from 4, with 0 goals scored and 12 conceded. Everything points to this being a safe win for Serbia U21.
Now I believe the odds on our second selection (Scotland U21) are very good value, and it's because they are playing top of the table Iceland U21. However, they certainly won't stay at the top, they have had two very fortunate wins against Ukraine U21 and 10 man France U21, and their position at the top flatters them greatly. Scotland have had a strong away win against Northern Ireland U21 and a respectable loss against a class France U21 side. With home advantage i think Scotland U21 will have the better of possession and chances on goal in this match and i'd be very surprised if they lost.
