We witnessed some fantastic performances from young players in the 2019/20 Premier League season. Mason Greenwood's place in the Manchester United team could come under threat from the potential arrival of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. However, the forward could easily switch from playing wide to the central strikers positioned and his finishing ability is fantastic. Greenwood has what it takes to be a 20 goal a season player at Old Trafford and big things are expected during the 20/21 Premier League season.
Billy Gilmour made the breakthrough into Chelsea's midfield towards the end of last season. Unfortunately, a bad injury means the Scot is set to miss the beginning of the new Premier League season. Nonetheless, when he returns to full fitness it will be interesting to see how he develops in the Chelsea team going forward and is certainly one to watch.
