Venue: Molineux Stadium
Match Preview:
Wolves have really impressed in recent weeks and they will be looking to keep up their good form when they take on Brentford at home. For Wolves it is only one loss from their last five games and even that was unlucky in the end when they were defeated in an epic 4-3 game against Manchester United. However they bounced back from that match to score 4 goals themselves as they smashed Chelsea 4-2 away from home in what really felt like a statement win. Wolves come into this game in 10th place with 32 points and are four away from a possible European finish, they have been able to win three of their past five games. At home they have managed to win 5 from 11 games and up until the loss to Manchester United had won back to back games here.
Brentford are 10 points behind their hosts and with 22 points the Bees are far from safe and only three points above the bottom three. Form has been poor with 4 defeats from their past five games. However their last two games have been against Manchester City and Tottenham. Thomas Frank’s side would have the chance to go past Crystal Palace if they can get a win here however the club has lost 70% of their games away from home so far. Because of that Brentford would rank in 18th place on away form alone where they have only been able to pull in 7 points from a possible 30. Recent away form is not any better with just no points earned from their last five games.
Team News:

Brentford: Frank Onyeka and Yoane Wissa are on international duty. Bryan Mbeumo is not due back for another month due to his ankle injury. Joshua Dasilva, Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey and Kevin Schade are all out long term with no fixed return dates

Wolves vs Brentford Prediction:
Out of all of the fixtures this weekend a Wolves home win seems like the most clever choice. The club has a good recent record over Brentford and they are in really good form. We have to consider how well they have been in front of goal and with an attack that has just put 7 goals past Manchester United and Chelsea. A team who scores goals is a team in great confidence and we would be surprised to see their bubble burst as they return home to face a team currently struggling. If that wasn’t enough Wolves have played the Bees twice since December and beat them on both occasions. As for Brentford these could be worrying times even with the return of Ivan Toney. Toney is scoring goals, he is a natural for that but even Thomas Frank the manager has admitted that he will likely be sold at the end of the season, you have to question his timing on that just for the motivation of the dressing room.
After he scored a hat trick in his last game against Chelsea, were not sure why Matheus Cunha is such an excellent price at 2.75 to score anytime in this game he also scored in the last time the teams met each other in January, so we will get him on and perhaps make that our overall main choice in this game if you had to pick one selection.
Wolves vs Brentford Betting Tips:
Wolves to beat Brentford at 2.10
Anytime goalscorer: Matheus Cunha at 2.75
Correct Score: Wolves to win 2-1 or 3-1 at 8.00 and 15.00
