England Premier League
Saturday 31st March 2018
Kick off at 3pm BST
Venue: Olympic Stadium
Match Preview:
A massive game awaits both teams when West Ham take on Southampton on Saturday afternoon. All of the pressure though will be on West Ham after their fiasco of a match last time they played here when fans invaded the pitch against Burnley and protested in front of club owners. Extra security and police will be reinforced for this match as the club seek to divert attention and put it back where it belongs - on the pitch.
The Hammers are in 17th place on 30 points and are just two clear of the Saints, lose this and they are back in the bottom three. The Hammers have lost their last 3 games in a row but apart from their recent loss to Burnley they had gone 4 home games unbeaten.
Southampton have not won an away game since the beginning of February and it seems the club are now paying the price for the amount of quality sold on in the last few years.
Away from home the club has won just 2 games all season, however they have been fighters on the road obtaining 6 draws and they have lost just 1 game away since December.
