West Ham vs Man City: Preview and Prediction

England Premier League
Sunday 29th April 2018
Kick off at 2:15pm BST
Venue: Olympic Stadium

Match Preview:

West Ham face a daunting task to try and get something from this game because even if the Hammers do look like they will be safe this season another three points would secure it. The East Londoners have not been in good form with just 1 win from their past four games and last week they went down too easy, losing 4-1 at Arsenal.

Home form has improved since their fiasco meltdown against Burnley, but it was evident to see in their desperate and dull draw against Stoke last time they played here that the club are not high on confidence.

The plaudits are running out for Manchester City who were crowned champions with a month to go and are aiming to break Chelsea’s top flight points record of 96. City are 16 points clear of 2nd place and have lost just 2 games all season. Away from home City have gained an incredible 44 points from 51 and come into this game having won their last 4 games in a row. The only doubt with the club is that some of their players with the season now done and dusted will want to protect themselves ahead of the World Cup this summer.

West Ham vs Manchester City Prediction:

Earlier this season West Ham did well only to lose 2-1 in Manchester and the club will look to soak up the attack led from City and play on the counter. But City have too much class and should prevail in this match as the game goes on. Kevin de Bruyne may feel a little hurt at not getting the PFA award for best player as he lost out to Mohamed Salah and could ‘up’ his performance even more in this game.

West Ham vs Manchester City Betting Tips:
