Another loss last weekend means that West Brom are now 8 points from safety and are the bookmakers favourites to be relegated. Apart from the defeats to Chelsea and Manchester City the only bright sparks for the Baggies is that they have been losing by just one goal margins and it would be unfair to say they have completely given up. However we must remind ourselves that they have still lost five games in a row and six in all competitions.
The Baggies have the worst home record in the league where from a possible 42 points they have won 13. Leicester have stalled in the past month after putting together some decent results and moving up the table. In truth the club are safe on 37 points needing just a few more points and maybe that has reflected in the fact that they have no wins in 5 games although 3 of those have been draws. The Foxes away form is very poor but they have had to face the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City in recent weeks.
