England Premier League
Saturday 15th September 2018
Kick off at 5:30pm BST
Venue: Vicarage Road
Match Preview:
This should be one of the more interesting fixtures of the Premier League weekend when unbeaten Watford protecting a 100% record take on under fire Manchester United in this early evening Saturday kick off.
Watford have been the outstanding team this season so much so that manager Javi Garcia has called his team the new Leicester. Players such as Roberto Pereyra and Troy Deeney who is now the captain have put fear into defences and the team passed their first real test this season by beating Tottenham at this stadium.
The Hornets have been able to score at least 2 goals per game and it will be a fascinating if they can inflict problems on United’s defence.
As for Manchester United, Jose Mourinho remains under pressure even if the club did bounce back and beat Burnley in their last game because this match is also a must win. The team need to get back on track as they are already 6 points behind league leaders Liverpool.
Perhaps there are still some troubles with Paul Pogba, but Alexis Sanchez has looked better in recent weeks and it was very important for Romelu Lukaku to get his goals against Burnley.
Team News:
Watford: Gerard Deulofeu is ruled out of this game with a muscle injury
Manchester United: Marcus Rashford is suspended after his red card v Burnley. Marouane Felliani has a chance to play some part after injuring his back on international duty. Luke Shaw will most probably miss this game as a precaution after his head injury on international duty for England
Watford vs Man Utd Head to Head:
Last season Man Utd won this fixture 4-2.
The last 5 games played at Watford has a 100% success rate to see both teams to score.
Watford vs Man Utd Prediction:
This will be a very exciting game because old Mourinho tactics defending the game and suffocating the opponent are long gone and haven’t been seen effectively since he was the manager of Chelsea when they beat Liverpool at Anfield 2-0 a couple of years ago.
This match will be end to end stuff and our main bet will be to see both teams to score which has such a great return rate. Lukaku should get on the score sheet again, all he really needed was a few goals in a must win game to reignite him.
Watford vs Man Utd Betting Tips:
Both teams to score at 1.72
Anytime goalscorer: Romelu Lukaku at 2.50
4+ corners in each half at 1.91
