Football throws up many coincidences and this will continue on Sunday lunchtime when Watford play Leicester. The coincidence is that Brendan Rodgers will be managing his first game as Leicester manager after Claude Puel’s sacking and his first game will be against his former and first team Watford.

The Hornets had been in good form until they came up against Liverpool in midweek and were destroyed 5-0. The question is will the club let that affect their form, or understand that they came up against the then league leaders away from home?

Watford are still in a good position and could finish as high as 7^th and at home they have lost just once this year and are undefeated in their last 3 games.

Leicester then will feel that a new chapter is starting and with Brendan Rodgers in the crowd for their last game they impressed the boss by beating Brighton 2-1, this ended a run of 4 games in a row without a win.

The Foxes are in 11^th place and a win here would close the gap on Watford to just two points. On the road the club they have no wins in thir last 3 games, with their last away match being a 3-1 loss against Tottenham.
