Match Preview:
The early evening Saturday kick off will pitch Watford against Everton, which has the makings of an intriguing tie. Everton are safe now after a very bumpy start and Sam Allardyce has been able to come in and prove that he really does keep teams up. But now The Toffees are punching above their weight and have entered the top half of the league and they will try and pursue 7th position.
Apart from their 5-1 hammering at the hands of Arsenal Everton’s form has been solid and they have lost just 1 game from their past four. Away form has been poor where they are currently on a 3 game losing streak though two of those games were to better teams in Arsenal and Tottenham. Everton though have won just 1 away game all season.
Watford on 30 points will be looking for a couple more wins to feel safe and its safe to say that they are still in danger of being sucked down. Their form has been inconstant where they have just one win in their past 5 games, although that victory was seen as a shock when they stunned Chelsea 4-1. At Vicarage Road they have just 4 wins all season and as a result have the 3rd worst home record in the league.
