When your bottom of the league one team you don’t want to be playing is Chelsea, especially this Chelsea side who have been one of the most in form teams in the Premier League recently.

Watford are in clear and obvious danger of going down and are already two points adrift of 19^th place. Their last game finished 0-0 against Bournemouth and they have drawn their last 3 consecutive games meaning they haven’t lost a game since the end of September.

The biggest problem for the Hornets is not winning as yet, and not tasting victory. They almost got it against Tottenham, and this game looks like being a very uphill task for the club.

Chelsea come into this game in 4^th place with 20 points and are just 2 points behind the champions Manchester City, that equates to a great start for Frank Lampard’s managerial career at the Blues after many doubted how he would perform in charge of such a big club.

Chelsea have won 4 games in a row coming into this match and their last game was a great 4-2 away win over Burnley. They could go 2^nd with victory here but more likely could take 3^rd away from Leicester. Despite doing so well in the league there will be some disappointment with the club as they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup in midweek to Manchester United, losing that game 2-1 at home.

Watford: Troy Deeney’s return has been delayed for a further 3 weeks. Etienne Capoue is in contention to return from his back injury. Tom Cleverley has been ruled out of this game with a heel injury. Domingos Quina is ruled out for a few weeks with a groin injury

Chelsea: Ross Barkley is 50/50 to return after his ankle injury. N’Golo Kante isn’t expected back until next week

It is all about having a positive season for this young team of players. Chelsea are a far better side than Watford and although we expect a closely fought game, Chelsea have goals in them. They have scored 8 goals in their last 2 away games and we can’t see this Watford defence, who have conceded 21 times this season already, keeping them quiet.
