Betting Tip Previews:Our first selection (Draw no bet - Ajax) is my preferred selection of the day as Ajax are a strong team and were a little unlucky not to get a better result in the 1st leg of this tie. Ajax are currently 2-1 down from the first leg away to FC Copenhagen, however they did create more goal attempts and did have more possession. So with home advantage this time and the massive incentive of needing to win to stand any chance of qualifying, this selection should have a good chance. Domestically Ajax have a fine home record, with 10 wins, 2 draws, and just the 1 defeat, scoring 33 goals and conceding only 9. Their only home defeat came at the start of the season when they were going through a sticky patch, since then they have won 10 and draw 1 of their last 11 home league games. FC Copenhagen are also in fine for domestically, still unbeaten after 25 games, however away from home they have drawn nearly half of their games and their goals ratio is less impressive. Now Ajax are a better quality side than all of FC Copenhagen's domestic opponents, and therefore FC Copenhagen may well look to hang on to their lead tonight rather than try to extend it, so it's very likely Ajax should be able to get at least a draw tonight.
Our second selection (Draw no bet - AS Roma) reminds me a little of the Monaco vs Man City game last night. Both are good attacking sides, however one of them (Lyon) has the 2 goal advantage so even if Lyon say they plan to attack, i will only believe it when i see it, because that certainly never happened with Man City after Pep's comments about needing to attack. The fact is that it's human nature to try and defend a lead, and that is most likely what Lyon will do, whereas AS Roma have no choice but to attack, and with home advantage also I fully expect them to be the attacking force in this game. Lyon are less likely to commit met forward in numbers and that makes them less likely to win the game, and they also don't have the best domestic away record, losing more games than they have won, whereas Roma's domestic home record only has the one blip against Napoli where they dropped any points. Therefore, with the draw covered in this selection, and AS Roma's need to win by at least 2 goals, this selection should also stand a good chance.
