England Premier League
Wednesday 26th December 2018
Kick off at 3pm GMT
Venue: Wembley Stadium
Match Preview:
It’s been a great few weeks for Tottenham who rounded it off by smashing Everton 6-2 away from home. The club are in a great moment and will want to continue that when they play at Wembley against Bournemouth.
A win could see Mauricio Pochettino’s team climb to 2nd if Manchester City were to continue their indifferent form. But even so they enter this game just six points behind league leaders Liverpool and they have won their last 4 league games in a row.
Bournemouth beat Brighton 2-0 last weekend which was a huge result for them given that it ended a two game losing run. The club under Eddie Howe have had a solid start to the season and a win could move them up a place.
Away form is not good because they have lost 5 games from 8 played and this worryingly includes their last 3 games in a row with only one of them being against the bigger teams in Manchester City.
Team News:
Tottenham: Dele Alli could be set to miss this game with a hamstring injury that he got against Everton. Serge Aurier could return after a muscle problem and Moussa Sissoko will be assessed after his recent knock
Bournemouth: No new injuries coming into this game
Tottenham vs Bournemouth Head to Head:
Tottenham have won the last 3 meetings against Bournemouth.
The last time they met when Tottenham were the home team ended in a 1-0 win for Tottenham.
Tottenham have scored 9 goals against Bournemouth in their last 3 games.
Tottenham vs Bournemouth Prediction:
Tottenham should be able to pick up yet another win and another three points against a Bournemouth side that will also have their moments. But Tottenham are in a good mental state and they will fully concentrate on the league and hoping that Liverpool at one point will drop some.
This could be another big score for the home side and it will be worth taking that route given that backing them to win is around 1.30. Given that Son has scored 3 times against Bournemouth in their last 3 meetings and that he is on brilliant form we will also back the talented South Korean to get on the score sheet.
Tottenham vs Bournemouth Betting Tips:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.50
Anytime goalscorer: Son Heung-min at 2.50
