Match Preview:
The north London derby remains one of the great English fixtures and this one has added spice to it. Tottenham has the opportunity to derail Arsenal’s league hopes with victory and Arsenal can dent their rivals top four hopes, there is also the case of bragging rights, in short expect a fiery game. We can already see both managers engaged in a row on the touchline, this should be fun.
Tottenham have lost 4th place to Manchester United however they are two points behind and have a game extra to play. But Antonio Conte’s side have to keep one eye on the emerging Fulham, and Liverpool may well creep up there too, so there is plenty to keep Tottenham occupied and motivated. Form has been erratic with two wins from their last four, but at times it has felt like the club have been waving the white flag of surrender with recent home losses against Liverpool and Aston Villa but in their last game some self belief was restored as they thrashed Crystal Palace 4-0 away from home.
Tottenham have no draws at home as of yet and from 9 games they have won 6 and lost 3. With 21 goals scored at home only three other teams have converted more but recent home form has been poor with 3 defeats from their last four.
Arsenal dropped points in their last league game, only the third time they have done so this season as they drew 0-0 at home to Newcastle. The Gunners are 5 points clear coming into this weekend over Manchester City but a day before City will play Manchester United and that lead could be cut to just 2 points, in the best case scenario for Arsenal though United have won and they could well go 8 points clear by the end of the weekend.
Tottenham should be cautious as Arsenal currently has the best away form in the league with 22 points earned from 9 games and just one defeat which came against Manchester United. Brighton, Wolves and Chelsea have all been beaten as Arsenal have won their last 3 away games in a row and alongside Manchester City they have the best defence on the road with just 6 goals conceded.
Team News:
Tottenham: Richarlison has recovered from injury but may have some fitness issues, he hasn’t been ruled out for this game but remains at 50/50. Lucas Moura is sidelined with a tendon injury. Dejan Kulusevski should return for this game and Rodrigo Bentacur is a doubt and rated at 50/50 to return.
Arsenal: Gabriel Jesus is out for at least another two weeks with his knee, Bukayo Saka has a knock and will be assessed. Reiss Nelson is missing with a muscle injury.

Tottenham started the season in solid form but since then it has been up and down and typically of Tottenham they have just not been consistent enough. However their recent win and the way it was achieved at Crystal Palace is going to put the side in good spirits coming into this game which should be a cracker. Harry Kane is scoring goals again and he is going to be a constant danger one would expect. Arsenal boast quality of course and time and again they have been able to upstage their neighbours but they have really struggled away from home against Tottenham can they break that duck?
This game as always will be intense and maybe Arsenal would be happy to come away from such a game with a draw, which is why we will back Arsenal but also cover the draw on the refund. It's very hard to go against Arsenal given the form they are in.
