Southampton continue to impress and last weekend they beat Brighton 2-1 to win their sixth game of the season. The victory put the Saints in 5th place and they have 20 points and a win at the weekend could move them up as high as 3rd depending on other results.
For fans of the club and neutrals it is refreshing to see them do well considering that previous seasons have seen them struggle and even be relegated. The club come into this game having lost just once in their past five and at home they have won 3 and lost 2. A three game winning run at home was spoiled last time out when they lost against Manchester United 3-2.
Danny Ings, the striker has recovered in super quick time after his knee injury and he could be key to the club having a strong finish this year.
Sheffield United are the only side in the Premier League without a win. Last weekend they almost claimed a point at home to Leicester but Jamie Vardy put paid to that with a last minute goal and that was the Blades 10th loss from 11 games.
It has been a devastating start to the new campaign for Chris Wilder’s side who have only scored 5 goals so far and away from home have lost all 5 games. They are now six points from safety after just 11 matches.
