Match Preview:
You have to give a lot of credit to Sheffield United, they had restarted the campaign slowly and then followed back to back losses against Manchester United and Newcastle conceding 6 goals without reply and their season threatened to peter out. You could almost hear manager Chris Wilder bemoaning the Covid-19 outbreak and that the pandemic had stifled their season.
But the Blades have sharpened their tools and have gone their last 3 games unbeaten including victory against Tottenham winning that match 3-1. That was impressive but then they beat Wolves 1-0 a direct rival for European competition which has seen the club fly past Arsenal. They are now in 7th place and just a point behind Wolves, and that part of the table is really bunched up now.
Chelsea have a better chance for a Champions League place after a terrific match and win over London rivals Crystal Palace. Chelsea were 2-0 up at one point and seemed to be cruising but to their credit Roy Hodgson’s side gave them their money’s worth and the match ended 3-2 to the Blues. Frank Lampard is a relived man, and that win has given them a 2 point distance to the threat of Manchester United, who can't stop winning at the moment.
But Chelsea have also finally gone past Leicester into 3rd place which is significant and they look like they have a good chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season as a result.

Chelsea: Kante and Kovacic are both doubtful for this clash.

A few weeks ago this match would have been quite easy to call and that would have been defeat for Sheffield United. But they are back to business, and they have a solid home record too, the 8th best in the league and have won 9 games from 17, they are also undefeated in their last five games here.
Chelsea are an exciting team and what is positive about the club is that they have goals in them. But away from home they can get caught out by attacking teams and United will surely do that. This is why it may be worth backing the draw although that can be risky so looking for a handicap like the Asian handicap on the home team could be beneficial.
