SC Freiburg vs FC Ingolstadt Betting Tip Preview:This is a slightly lob sided double as our first selection has a hugely favourable handicap, giving it much shorter odds than our second selection, this is because I believe our second selection to be a far less tricky game.
Freiburg are a good home side, sitting 5th in the German Bundesliga, having recorded 10 wins from 16 home league games, and today they are up against a team (ingolstadt) who have a poor away record consisting of 10 losses. However, what potentially makes this tie tricky, and therefore in need of a safe handicap is that Ingolstadt are fighting to avoid relegation, which means this won't be an easy game. However this "+1 asian handicap" should really make the selection safe as even if Ingolstadt did take the lead, you can be sure they will then by trying to defend like their lives depend on it rather than look for a 2nd goal. Freiburg did actually win this encounter away from home earlier in the season, and they don't perform particularly well on their travels, so with home advantage this time, and the incentive of potentially qualifying for the Europa league at stake, they should stand a good chance of taking points from this match.
Mjondalen vs Elverum Betting Tip Preview:Now the reason this selection has a more challenging handicap is because Mjondalen should be comfortable winners on paper, and the "-1 asian handicap" adds no further risk than a simple bet to win as a win by a 1 goal margin will be 'void' here. Mjondalen are a very strong side when playing at Isachsen Stadion. Last season they managed to remain undefeated at home, and so far this season they have won all 3 of their home games, scoring 10 goals and conceding only 2 in the process. Their opponents today (Elverum) are a newly promoted team, and so far have struggled with the step up in standard, recording 3 draws and 3 losses from their first 6 games. However it's away from home they look to be struggling most of all, recording just 1 point and only managing to score 1 goal yet concede 8. So with Mojondalen averaging over 3 goals per game at home so far this season, and Elverum conceding on average just under 3 goals per game away from home, this should be a big home win for Mjondalen, barring any crazy upsets of course.
