Betting Tip Previews:Our first selection (Goal line - Over 2) in the Cork City vs Sligo Rovers match should be a comfortable home win, however there is more value to be had focusing on goals. Last season Cork City were the highest goal scorers in the Ireland Premier Division, scoring 73 in 33 league games, which is just over 2 goals per game. That may not seem overly impressive, however they scored the majority at home (46 in 17 home games), which resulted in an average of 2.7 goals per home game, and if you include their opponents goals, their total home game average last season was 3.4 goals per game. Now if we fast forward to this season, they have played only one home game so far and it was a 4-0 win for Cork City against a Galway side who have only conceded 1 goal in each of their other two games this season. Now Cork City's opponents tonight have conceded 10 goals so far in their first 3 games, 5 against Limerick, 4 against Dundalk, and 1 against St Patricks. So when visiting high scoring at home Cork tonight, you would have to think this could well be a large home win, and therefore 2 or more goals should be a fairly straight forward selection.
Our second selection (Goal line - Over 2) in the Limerick vs Bohemians game should have a very good chance of having 2 or more goals. Last season Limerick were banging the goals in for fun in Division 1, at home they scored a massive 47 goals in only 14 games, which is an average of more than 3 goals per home game, and only two occasions out of 28 in total last season did they not manage to play in a league match which contained 2 or more goals. So far this season they have recorded a huge 5-1 home victory over Sligo Rovers, and a tight 1-0 away loss to Champions Dundalk, which is nothing to be too worried about as a lot of teams struggle to hit the back of the net when visiting Dundalk. Fortunately tonight, their opponents (Bohemians) should be easier to score against, and Bohemians also have the ability to score themselves, having scored 5 goals and conceded 8 in their first 3 league games this season. On top of that, each of those 3 games have contained 3 or more goals, and both teams have scored in each game also. Therefore, with Limerick this time having home advantage, and each of Bohemians games so far not having a clean sheet from either side, this game should stand a very good chance of containing 2 or more goals.
