Premier League Previews & Predictions by Kully Bahia
Leicester v Sunderland (4th April 2017)
Leicester have now won 4 Premier league games on the bounce since Ranieri's sacking. Their resurgence is mind boggling, and shows just how much losing the dressing room can be a noose around a managers neck. David Moyes must know how that feels, as Sunderland are rock bottom, and don't have a cat in hell's chance of avoiding relegation. They lost away to out of form Watford on Saturday1-0, and have won just once in their last 14 games in all competitions. Nine of those 14 games ended in defeat, which is a very worrying trend. Their away form is even worse, having won 2 and lost 11 of their last 13 away games in all competitions. Defoe looks like the only player who might score, and midfield is lacking pace apart from Januzaj. Leicester should be able to smother Sunderland's attack, as the Black Cats have failed to score in 4 of their last 5 away games. Back over 2.5 goals at 19/25.
Score prediction: Leicester to win 3-1 (Odds 21/2)
Burnley v Stoke (4th April 2017)
Burnley have been stuck in a rut of late, winless in their last 8 in all competitions, losing 5 and drawing 3. However their home form isn't as bad, only losing 4 times all season, and mostly to teams fighting for the title. They've won 9 out of 15 at Turf Moor, but goals have dried up of late.
Stoke have lost their last 4 on the road, and more worryingly haven't managed to score. They have been lacklustre in the league, and don't look like they have a goal scorer to win tight games. Form is out of the window, and Shaquiri's injury is not helping. Nevertheless Stoke would do well to park the bus, and hope to see out the game. Back under 2.5 goals at 10/17.
Score prediction: Burnley to win 1-0 (Odds 23/4)
Arsenal v West Ham (5th April 2017)
Arsenal managed to grab a draw on Sunday against Manchester City at the Emirates. Both teams were poor in defence but City were more dangerous in attack. Wenger might have patched up his differences between the players after losing to West Brom, but clearly there's a lot of work to do if they are to finish top 4. I can't see Arsenal playing flowing, attacking football, and winning many Premier League games now. Too many teams know how to play against them, and Wenger often persists with the same tactics. West Ham lost on Saturday, after talking the lead against Hull 2-1. Bilic still hasn't worked out his best starting 11 and their defence is mired with more leaks than a faulty shower head. Upfront the hammers lack a quality finisher, and are too dependent on Andy Carroll for goals. Judging by the way both teams results have been lately, this game should have goals galore. Back over 2.5 goals at 23/50 and Sanchez anytime goalscorer at 15/19.
Score prediction: Arsenal to win 3-1 (Odds 19/2)
