Match Preview:
A huge game awaits Nottingham Forest because if they win here then they will stay up and their relegation fears will have ended. Of course if results have worked their way the club could almost be safe anyway such is their goal difference over Luton. Form has not been too convincing for the club though who have won just once in their last five games and that victory came against the bottom club Sheffield United. Forest did have to come back though from a goal down before eventually seeing it out 3-1. Forest’s majority result at home has been the loss with 8 games so far and they have won 20 points from a possible 54 on offer. Although home form has improved with just one defeat from their last four they have been drawing too many games in a period of time where they need to be winning, the clubs last home game finished in a 2-0 defeat against Manchester City.
Chelsea look to be reaching form just at the right time and could well finish as high as 6th place if they keep this up. The Blues have won their last two games in a row beating Tottenham and West Ham and scoring 7 goals in the process without conceding. However it is worth noting that both of those results were at home. The club's last away match finished in a 2-2 draw at Aston Villa. Chelsea has the chance to go past Newcastle but if they can’t do it now they certainly could turn up the heat on the Magpies. However Chelsea’s recent away form is a worry with no wins in their past five and only 4 points won in that time with four draws.

Nottingham Forest: Neco Williams is the only worry for Forest and he will be assessed for a slight muscle strain
Chelsea: Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka, Reece James and Roberto Sanchez could all be assessed but all look likely once again to miss out. There are long term injuries for Romeo Lavia, Wesley Fofana and Enzo Fernandez

A few months ago it would have been perhaps easy to have said Chelsea even with the superior team could struggle here but Forest have not been in convincing form. Anything other than 100% and Forest could be facing another defeat no matter if they are at home. This Chelsea side are learning and getting better on the evidence of play and it isn’t just the wins we should focus on. The way Pochettino’s side fought back from 2-0 down away to Aston Villa should be applauded, earlier in the season that game may have gone 3 or even 4-0 to Villa, so there has been hard work at Chelsea and it is showing. This is a huge game for Forest but despite this result they may well still be in the driving seat going into the last weekend. We think Forest can survive this season but that Chelsea will win this game and the Blues are also a decent price to do so.
