Match Preview:
Even though Norwich are in 19th place the league is tightly bunched up but it won’t be for much longer and the Canaries are 4 points from safety. They have lost 10 of their games from 15 which tells you everything you need to know about the club and lost 2-1 in their last match against Southampton.
Norwich have won just 1 game in their last five which was ironically an away win. They have conceded 32 goals, only Southampton have shipped more. Based on home form they would be 3rd from bottom and have won just 7 points from a possible 21. The club haven’t won at home since shocking Manchester City back in September. Their last result here was a 2-2 draw against Arsenal.
Sheffield United are in 9th place and after having a strong start one wonders now if they might start struggling? They haven’t won a game for 4 matches and the last one was at the beginning of November with victory over Burnley. Three of their last four games have ended in draws and their last match was a loss albeit against the run of play at home to Newcastle.
Only two teams are undefeated away from home. One is Liverpool which wouldn’t come as a surprise but the other is Sheffield United. They have an odd away record though- sure no losses but also just 1 win and 6 draws. The Blades do have one of the best defences away from home conceding just six goals and setting up their formations on the road with five at the back.

Norwich remain unpredictable and only seem to up their game against the better teams. Sheffield United have traditionally not travelled well here and are in average form, they could well fall away in the next few weeks into the bottom half of the league, it is amazing how quick it can happen. For this game we are going to concentrate on the goalscorer markets though because in essence there isn’t really that much between the clubs.
It was interesting to see Teemu Pukki score a few weeks ago, the player had started the season so strongly and perhaps he has a taste for goals again. He also scored the last time the clubs met so we will pick him. We also believe this game is nailed on to see both sides to score.
