Match Preview:

Norwich will start as the underdogs but we never know what version of the club we will see - how about the version that put 3 goals past Manchester City at this very stadium? It is clear that the club will up their game for the arrival of a Manchester United team who have looked very ordinary this season indeed.

Norwich come into this game in 19^th place and look like relegation candidates already and have not won a game in their last four. Their last result ended in a 0-0 draw away to Bournemouth. At home the club have won 2 and lost 2 and whilst it is brilliant to beat Manchester City we also have to remember they have lost 5-1 to Aston Villa here.

Manchester United won in the Europa League but in their last league game there was good news and bad. Good because they became the first team to take points from Liverpool this season with that game ending 1-1 but bad because they were on their way to winning the game, and Liverpool scoring near the end felt like a loss and was a real damp squib for a side that need wins.

United have just 10 points and are in 14^th place and the pressure is on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The club have no wins in their last 4 games and it is widely known just how poor they have been this season. Away from home they have yet to win and the worry is that they have picked up just 2 points from a possible 12 and all of this against teams who could very well finish outside the top 8.

Team News:

Norwich: Ben Godfrey could return after a minor knock, Mario Vranic is ruled out and won’t be back for another two weeks after fitness issues. The Canaries also have some long term injury worries

Manchester United: There has been no news on Paul Pogba’s ankle, he was pencilled in to return and possibly could have a late decision. Diogo Dalot looks set to miss another game with his groin injury. Nemanja Matic has a muscle injury and is only 50/50 to make this one. Luke Shaw is also 50/50 as he has a hamstring injury

Norwich as we know can raise their game and it’s questionable if there is any value in backing United in their recent form. This is another big pressure game for the away side, can they step it up?
