Betting Tip Previews:Our first selection Draw no bet (Nice) should be one of the safest selections of the day because Nice have been so strong at Allianz Riviera this season. At home they have a league record of 11 wins, 3 draws, and 0 losses, and although they can't compete with the attacking power of Monaco, they have still managed to score over 2 goals per game on average at home, and their defence is very tight with only 9 goals conceded in their 14 home games. On top of that, their recent form is good, with just 2 points dropped in their last 5 league games, and they will be out to avenge their away defeat to tonight's opponents Caen earlier in the season, with a win putting them level on points at the top of Ligue 1. Caen can be a dangerous team but less so away from home, with only 2 away wins all season. They also have a decent goal scorer in Croatian forward Ivan Santini, although he has scored most of his goals at Caen's home ground, and hasn't been too prolific of late. On paper this is a game Nice should win, however I never feel totally confident backing them for the win, which is why this selection has the draw covered, and with them being so difficult to beat at home, it make this selection far safer.
Our second selection (Goal line - Over 2) also known as "Asian total - over 2", in the Marseille vs Angers game should have a good chance based on recent games involving these two teams. Both Marseille and Angers don't have a particularly high average goals per game, however their average has been influenced by their lower goal scoring/conceding rates earlier in the season. Marseille's first 10 league games contained a total of 21 goals, whereas their last 10 league games have contained a massive 39 goals, which is nearly 4 goals per game. To a lesser extent the same can be said for Angers, with their first 10 league games containing a total of 20 goals, whereas their last 10 league games contained 26 goals. Angers goals per game rate may not be quite as impressive, however their away games have still contained 2 or more goals 11 times out of 14 this season, and as Marseille are likely to be the more attacking force in this game, it's far more important for them to be providing the bigger goal threat, which they do. I see Marseille winning this game and their being a few goals scored, but as Angers are in good form, i think it's safer to back goals rather than match result this time.
