Betting Tip Previews:We're selecting from a really poor set of fixtures today, so would be a good day to take a break from the betting in all honesty, however if you insist on betting today, hopefully these selections will help increase your chances of winning.
Our first selection (Goal line - Over 2.5) in the Monaco vs Manchester City Champions League 2nd leg tie is the obvious choice of the day. We should all know by now that Monaco are scoring goals for fun this season, and up until the Stoke game, Man City were also finding the back of the net with good regularity. The first leg of this tie at Etihad Stadium ended 5-3 to Man City in a very entertaining encounter. Now i'm not expecting 8 goals to be scored again due to Man City's need to defend a 2 goal lead, however to have over 2.5 goals in this game should be achievable, especially when you consider Monaco's home league games average 4.2 goals, and each of their 15 home league games has contained 3 or more goals this season. Monaco will have to attack from the outset, and it wouldn't surprise me if their suspect defence gets caught out on the break on at least one occasion, and I also wouldn't be surprised if there was a penalty awarded at some point either. Prepare for an entertaining game.
Our second selection (Asian handicap +0.5 Braga B) which has a 3pm kick-off is from a league which is normally best to avoid, however today there aren't any decent alternatives unfortunately. Braga B are the most in-form team of the last 5 games in the Portugal Segunda Liga, with 3 wins, 2 draws, and 0 defeats, scoring 11 goals and conceding only 4, whereas their opponents today (Leixoes) have recorded 0 wins, 4 draws, and 1 loss, scoring 6 goals and conceding 7. Braga B have only lost 3 of their 15 home games this season, and managed a 2-2 draw when visiting Leixoes earlier in the season. What makes Braga B a dangerous team at home is their ability to score, with 28 goals in 15 home games, which may not sound like much having just previewed Monaco vs Man City, but in terms of Portuguese football, it's considered a significant amount. On top of that, Leixoes have only managed 12 goals in 16 away games, so with an away goals average of less than 1 goal per game, it looks unlikely they will beat Braga B who score nearly goals per game at home. Therefore with the draw covered, and Braga B being in good form recently, this selection should stand a decent chance considering the poor available fixtures today.
