Monaco vs Juventus Betting Tip Preview:
This match is the kind of game where team/player psychology might play a bigger part than usual in the outcome. The reason being is it's a 2-leg tie between a naturally attacking team and a naturally more defensive team. The home side in these 2-leg ties usually approaches the game with the aim of taking a lead into the second leg away from home, and the away team will usually be happy with a draw, especially if they can get an away goal as well. Now looking at the individual teams more closely, Monaco will know they need to get a win tonight as it will be extremely hard for them in the second leg at Juventus Stadium where Juventus have a 100% record from 17 home league games, scoring 44 goals and conceding only 8. Whereas Juventus will feel confident regarding the second leg, and therefore would probably be happy with a draw tonight, and if they manage to take the lead tonight, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Italian side try and defend that lead rather than add to it, making the "+1 asian handicap" a very safe selection. Especially when you consider how strong Monaco are at Stade Louis II, with 15 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss from 17 league matches, scoring a massive 57 goals and conceding only 13 in the process.

Ajax vs Lyon Betting Tip Preview:
Now this game is a little trickier in my own personal opinion, and largely because Lyon can be a very unpredictable team. Sometimes they can tear teams apart with great attacking flair, but then other times they can be torn apart when you least expect it, with their 4-1 home loss to Lorient instantly springing to mind. Ajax on the other hand are a very reliable team who have a superb home league record of 13 wins, 2 draws, and only 1 loss, and even though their domestic league isn't the strongest, they have still won all of their home European fixtures this season, which included a 2-0 win against Schalke. Lyon's away record on the other hand can be fairly unpredictable, recording as many wins as they have losses, giving them a domestic league away record of 7 wins, 3 draws, and 7 losses. So this game could depend on which Lyon turn up on the night, but without being able to select star winger Memphis Depay, there is a higher chance the less successful lyon might turn up tonight. Therefore, with the draw covered, the sensible play is to go with the more reliable home team tonight.
