Match Preview:

Well here is a fact to behold- if Manchester United beat Tottenham then Sir Alex Ferguson stand aside, Erik ten Hag will have the best ever manager win rate. How strange statistics can be, but everyone knows that Ten Hag is quite a way to go to even be half the manager that Ferguson was at United. As per normal United come into this game with haphazard results and inconsistencies and have fallen to 9th place and 14 points behind the league leaders Liverpool. Ten Hag’s time at the club has taken one step forward, one back and one sideways and one has to wonder how long the Dutchman will have at the club, in short progress is not being made. That doesn’t mean that under Ten Hag United have always been poor but they have failed up until now to find the consistency that a club like United demands. Their last league game ended in a 2-1 defeat away to Nottingham Forest but their home form has improved with 3 wins from their last four. The club's last home game was a dramatic and epic 3-2 win over Aston Villa, where United scored 3 second half goals to win the game. This weekend the club has seen Chelsea go past them though they would go past Chelsea with a win here and into 6th place.

Tottenham have welcomed Timo Werner to the side in a loan move and the German will be looking to make his mark early. Form is solid again from the Londoners who have won 4 of their last five games and come into this game in 5th place with 39 points. A win here would really put them back in the mix. The club's last game ended in a 3-1 win over Bournemouth however their last away game was a 4-2 loss to Brighton. Despite that Tottenham has a good away record and would rank 3rd in the league on away games alone. They have managed to earn 18 points from a possible 30. Victory at the weekend would see the club move past arch rivals Arsenal so there is a lot of motivation within the club to put in a good performance.

Man Utd vs Tottenham Head to Head:

Last season Manchester United won this fixture 2-0.

It’s been 3 years since Tottenham beat Manchester United away from home.

There is a 60% chance to see both teams to score.

Man Utd vs Tottenham Prediction:

You have to be worried if you are Tottenham whose injury list is increasing to worrying lengths. The club have talked about how they are still in the title hunt, and whilst they are not far off one has to wonder how you keep sustaining a side who has fallen to so many key injuries? It’s not just the injuries key players are missing because of international duty and any Premier League side would miss the quality of Son upfront.

Manchester United have to sense that Tottenham are not at their strongest and we expect a good solid home win here. United are at a favourable price and have a good overall home record over the London side and we do not see any other outcome than a home win despite United’s problems this season.
