Match Preview:
What do we know about Erik ten Hag after 12 months? He’s either lauded as a genius that is pointing Manchester United in the right direction or as someone who has little clue what he is doing. At the beginning of this campaign one feels that Ten Hag is back under pressure. Granted United have one win and one defeat but even in that win which came at home against Wolves they got very lucky and played poorly. Now we ask again when will we see a good performance from the club? Knives will be out if we see a 3rd straight game with nothing convincing.
Last weekend Manchester United were outfought and out-thought as they were beaten 2-0 away to Tottenham but they will be the odds-on favourites to win this game and should relish returning home, the fans will be with them for now. Nottingham Forest have been involved in two games that have both ended 2-1. One a loss and one a win. Forest’s defeat was away to Arsenal and was expected and it ended up being quite a close game in the end. They followed this up with a very important home win against newly promoted Sheffield United. Forest produced many chances in that game but it took an 89th minute winner from new signing Chris Wood to seal the three points. The club will be under no illusions at the difficulty at hand here but will sense some negativity over United so far and will try to pounce on that and make life difficult for the club so this could be a very interesting game.

Man Utd vs Nottm Forest Prediction:
We hear bounce back a lot in football and surely this term sums up this game, Manchester United will be obliged to bounce back and not just win but put in a good performance too. We expect them to but let’s remind ourselves that they are 1.25 to do so and they really struggled to see off Wolves so why would playing Forest at this stage of the season be any different?
Of course United has the team to win big here but Forest have shown a lot of resilience and one would think that Ten Hag’s side will really need to be on key here. Still we expect the home side to win and they have a fantastic record over Forest, it would be a real surprise to see that change at the weekend.
