Liverpool have spent serious money over the summer, the most in the Premier League and they have one trophy on their mind, to win the Premier League. We have already seen two examples of the team so far, thrashing West Ham at home on the opening day of the season and then winning hard and ugly away to Crystal Palace. Manager Jurgen Klopp was understandably happy after the hard fought 2-0 win at Palace because he witnessed his side digging deep for victory. At Anfield they will be expected to win games in their usual attacking manner.

It’s hard to argue with the Reds form having scored 6 goals in two games and they are the only side in the league who have not conceded a goal yet.

Brighton were poor in losing to Watford on the opening day but more than made up for that when they stunned Manchester United 3-2. The score glosses over the performance for United who were very poor and Brighton were always in control. Now they face another tough test when they take on Liverpool.
