Match Preview:

Leicester were involved in an almighty game in the Carabao Cup in midweek where perhaps some luck played its part as the Foxes beat Southampton on penalties to reach the quarter finals where they will play Manchester City.

After such a tragic season for the club they will be putting in a huge effort to go on and win the competition. The game may have taken its toll on the team, not just because it went to penalties but a mental toll too in trying to win their first piece of silverware since winning the Premier League in 2016.

In the league they are in 10^th place which sums up their season- not too good but not too bad. A win could move the club closer to a Europa League spot and form is decent as they have gone their last 4 games without defeat, but their matches have been littered with draws.

Watford are one place above their hosts and two points to the advantage so they have a great chance to extend that lead over their opponents. Although, games have been a real struggle for them lately and they have gone their last 3 without victory. Last weekend they went down 3-0 to Liverpool and away from home they have won 2, lost 2 and drawn 2.

Team News:

Leicester: The club are hopeful that Rachid Ghezzal will be available after his leg injury forced the player to miss the Carabao Cup tie. Vicente Iborra will be assessed ahead of the game after picking up a knock. Harry Maguire has a knee injury but is expected to be back with the club in early December

Watford: Tom Cleverly should be back after a lack of match fitness, though this has not been confirmed. Adalberto Penaranda has a foot injury and is set to miss this game

Leicester have the better form but they are likely more fatigued and if Watford come in with a heavy physical game this could be a very tough game for the Foxes. It is these types of matches that Leicester need to win and of course the same could be said of Watford in terms of both clubs punching above their weight and making a European place at the end of the season. Our bet here though is to see a draw.
