England Premier League
Saturday 6th October 2018
Kick off at 3pm BST
Venue: King Power Stadium
Match Preview:
Leicester are in 8th position and could climb into the top six with a win here at home to Everton in what should be an interesting game. The Foxes are in decent form with back to back wins coming into this match. At home they have beaten Huddersfield and Wolves and only narrowly lost to Liverpool 2-1.
What Leicester are doing well is scoring goals and they have 13 so far, the 7th best side in the league for netting. James Maddison and Jamie Vardy have a partnership of 6 goals between them already which is impressive given that the club will most probably not end the season as one of the top four sides, but to their credit the players keep plugging away.
For Everton there was encouraging signs last weekend when they beat Fulham and kept a clean sheet it was the teams most comprehensive victory this season. The joy was cut short though in midweek when they crashed out of the Carabao Cup against Southampton and this could be a body blow to the club who would want to have gone further in the competition.
Marco Silva’s side have won just 1 game from their past five and are searching for their first victory away from home. Currently they are conceding 2 goals a game on the road.
Team News:
Leicester: Demarai Gray has an ankle injury and won’t return at the earliest until the end of this month, no new major injuries for the club ahead of this game
Everton: Andre Gomes has been training ahead of this game as is Seamus Coleman after his foot injury but they could both be doubts for this game. Phil Jagielka is likely to return to league action after his knee injury and Yerry Mina could make an appearance after his set back against Fulham with his foot injury
Leicester vs Everton Head to Head:

Leicester vs Everton Prediction:
Leicester being at home have the qualities to win this game against an Everton side that haven’t quite adjusted to Marco Silva’s demands. But we think we will see at best an entertaining match that could end up with a point for each side. Leicester have a decent record at home to Everton and are playing some good football in recent weeks.
Everton we have to remind ourselves have only looked good in small parts this season and have struggled away from home but they can make their point here and can certainly threaten Leicester. This should be a good game of football with a lot of pace and creativity stemming from the attacking midfielders. Whilst the result looks tricky to predict, it does look like goals could be the order of the day, and that's what we'll focus on with our tips for this game.
