England Premier League

Kick off at 5:30pm GMT
Venue: Elland Road
Match Preview:
As we come into this weekend only 2 games have been confirmed for this Saturday in the Premier League and one of them is this early evening fixture.
While there has been some bright moments for Leeds this season overall it's been a poor campaign by the club who have mostly struggled throughout and if they finish in 17th place by the end of the season that will feel like some sort of relief.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have lost their last two games coming into this one after defeats against Chelsea and Manchester City where the club conceded 10 goals. Leeds last game against the champions ended in a 7-0 slaughter, and that result may have affected the players mindset. It was a reminder for Leeds that their style of play can still be heavily exposed to look like naive tactics and the club will be up against another attacking side this weekend.
It’s been 3 games since Leeds won, although at home the club have found more balance and it’s been almost 3 months since they were defeated.
Arsenal bounced back well after the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fall out with the striker being disciplined, dropped and then stripped of his captaincy and he remains out of the team. But the Gunners were up against a good West Ham side in midweek and beat them 2-0 at home. It was a huge win for the club who moved into 4th place and displaced the Hammers at the same time.
Whilst Mikel Arteta is proving some of his critics wrong given how Arsenal have changed their fortunes since the beginning of the season away form has been poor. The club have won just seven points from a possible 24 and have lost their last three games on their travels. However they have had also had a tough away schedule and with the way Leeds have played so far Arsenal might be fancying their chances to get all three points.
Team News:
Leeds: Patrick Bamford looks likely to still be out with his muscle injury. Liam Cooper is out with his hamstring. Robin Koch is expected to return after illness. Kalvin Phillips is out long term with his hamstring. Rodrigo is out with his heel.
Arsenal: Sead Kolasinac is out until next month with an ankle injury. Bernd Leno will be assessed after his groin injury.
Leeds vs Arsenal Head to Head:
Last season this fixture finished 0-0.
It’s been 11 games and 18 years since Leeds beat Arsenal.
There is a 50% chance to see over 3.5 goals.
Leeds vs Arsenal Prediction:
This should be a good game as we have two attacking teams that will go for each other but the worry has to be that Leeds do have some key injuries up front coming into this game and they have already been struggling for goals.
On paper Arsenal should have few problems but have been poor on the road, at the same time one has to wonder how long Arsenal’s poor form will continue on the road. The clubs recent two wins should have boosted them and at a very favourable price we will be backing them to win this game. This is an important moment for the Gunners who could move four points clear of West Ham as they can’t play this weekend and if they can put a good Christmas run together Arsenal could be making a valid statement for a top 4 finish.
