Midweek LaLiga Previews & Predictions by Kully Bahia

Celta Vigo v Espanyol (1st March 2017)
Celta Vigo come into this game with an impressive recent home record of winning eight out of their last nine home League games. Lying tenth in La Liga, just 1 point below their opponents Espanyol, they are playing out of their skin. Celta are currently scoring two goals per home game on average, with Iago Aspas being the main threat in front of goal. Espanyol have done well against opposition below them in the table, but will struggle at Celta and the quality they possess. They've already been beaten 2-0 at home to Celta this season, and they've recently lost three of their last four away games, scoring less than one goal per game in the process. In the last four encounters between these two teams, Celta have taken ten out of the twelve available points with three wins and one draw, expect another three points for Celta today. Likely bets are Celta to win at 10/11, and Iago Aspas anytime goal scorer at 8/5.
Score prediction: Celta Vigo to win 2-0 (Odds 8/1)

Real Madrid v Las Palmas (1st March 2017)
Real welcome back Gareth Bale into the team after a lengthy layoff. Zidane is blessed to have such an influential player back at the business end of the season. His pace and power has been missed, and he's ready to take up the Ronaldo effect in games. Ronaldo now plays a more reserved role for Real as age catches up. Real should be ahead at half time in this match, they've beaten Las Palmas at home in the last three outings, scoring fifteen goals in the process. Las Palmas have the second worse away record in La Liga and are on a four game losing streak. It’s a question of how many will Real score? However, will they rotate as this is a midweek game? Real Madrid are a point ahead of Barcelona with a game in hand, and will want to wrap this game up. Likely bets are Real Madrid to win both halves at 1/1, and Bale anytime goal scorer at 17/25.
Score prediction: Real Madrid to win 5-0 (Odds 13/1)

Sevilla v Athletic Bilbao (2nd March 2017)
Sevilla have great home form in La Liga, winning nine, drawing once and losing once. They sit third in the table ahead of Atletico Madrid and are having a great season, scoring on average 2.1 goals per home game and not losing in their last five home games. This season has seen them break into the Champions league, and qualify for the knockout stages. Athletic Bilbao have terrible away form, winning two, drawing two and losing seven, and they haven't managed to score an away goal in their last four away league games. The clubs transfer policy doesn't help either (Basque only players). Top scorer at 36 years old Aritz Adruiz is injured and therefore unavailable, and they don't really have anyone to replace him. I can't see Athletic scoring against Sevilla’s strong home defence, so am backing a Sevilla win to nil at 2/1, and Wissam Ben Yedder is a good choice for anytime scorer at 8/5.
Score prediction: Sevilla to win 3-0 (Odds 11/1)
