KA Akurayri vs Akranes Betting Tip Preview:There really is very little on today, which is why once again we look to the Iceland league in the goals market. Both these teams games average a large number of goals, with KA Akurayri's games averaging 3.7 goals per game, and Akranes' games averaging a massive 5 per game. In fact, all but one of Akranes games this season have contained 4 or more goals, so based on that alone there is a very strong chance of tonight's match having at least one goal in the first half. Then if we take into account their opponents tonight KA Akurayri, who's games have contained 3 or more goals on all but one occasion, and that was against notoriously tight Fjolnir, then this should be a fairly safe selection on paper. On top of that, even though KA Akurayri have started the season well, they are a newly promoted team, so Akranes may well see this as a winnable game and look to attack from the start, once again giving a good chance of a first half goal or two.
Throttur vs Leiknir Betting Tip Preview:Our second selection has seen a lot of movement this morning as Throttur initially started out as overwhelming favourites. When i first considered the "Asian handicap +2.0 Leiknir" the odds were 1.275, however they dropped very quickly to 1.19, and are now even shorter as 1.175. The reason for this is because of Leiknir's dominant head2head record over Throttur in recent years, including this year. Over the last 5 years, Leiknir have beaten Throttur 9 times out of 10 encounters, and have already beaten them twice this year in the cup. So even though Throttur are ahead in the league and have home advantage, they seem to really struggle against Leiknir, which is why with a +2 asian handicap for Leiknir, there should be a good level of safety as only a Throttur win by 3 or more goals will make the selection lose.
