Huddersfield have a tough match to start their league campaign off when they take on Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.

The home side have been very busy in the summer buying Monaco pair Adama Diakhaby and Terence Kongolo. They have taken a focus on their defensive line and it has showed as they hope not to run out of steam like they did last season. Pre season included impressive wins over both Lyon and Bologna and the team look like they are in a very good mood for the start of the season.

The big news for Chelsea is they have a new manager in Maurizio Sarri who has come from Napoli. The other big news was the world record fee paid for a goalkeeper when the Blues paid £71m for Athletic Bilbao’s Kepa Arrizabalaga. Though they have lost Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.

Along with manager Sarri also came Jorginho from Napoli for over £50m and apart from Courtois, Chelsea have been able to keep the core of their team including Eden Hazard who was linked with a move to Real Madrid. 

Chelsea had 3 high profile pre season games in the International Champions Cup where they drew every game against Inter Milan, Arsenal and Lyon.
